About the Author: 

   Bob Emery is President of Global Opportunities for Christ, a non-profit organization that raises support for effective, indigenous Christian ministries around the world. He left a 10-year career in the financial services industry in 1993 to serve the Lord full-time in mission work, and in 1996 founded Global Opportunities for Christ.

   Global Opportunities for Christ currently works with over 40 ministries in 31 countries--primarily in "closed" or "unreached" countries.  As a result, Bob has traveled extensively and has had the privilege of working with some of the finest Christian leaders on the planet.  He also serves as a Middle East consultant for Strategic Resource Group. 

   Bob has been a Christian for 40 years and and enjoys teaching in various Christian settings both abroad and here in the United States. He lives in Charlottesville, Virginia with his wife Sandra and has two grown daughters.
